OPS17-A, B [White]

OPS-17B (x2) [White]

All four sprues are labeled "30MM Option Part Set 17 (オプションパーツセット17)" and these are newly tooled sprues for this kit.

Detailed Parts Review

Backpack section for the Wing Unit has standard spaced two 3mm pegs, so it can be attached to most of the 30MM kits and some HG Gunplas.

Each wing consists of wing itself, root section and joint section for backpack. Joint sections - pictured top right and bottom left - have c-clip joint so that the wing can swivel up and down. Other attachment points are simple 3mm peg-hole joint so the wing can also swivel front to back at those points. Each wing also has 4 individually articulated "feather" pieces which can swivel on there axis.

Standard configuration makes backpack with standard dual 3mm pegs.

You can also remove the backpack and the joint section and use simple adaptor piece make a simpler configuration of the wing unit.

Simpler version only 3mm peg so that it can be attached to 30MS or some 30MM units.

Instruction also suggests support fighter configuration, which omits one of the root part and use a single root section for fuselage.

Standard configuration can directly attach to back of most 30MM kits with dual 3mm holes.

In standard configuration, joint section enables the wing to swivel up and down.

Individual section can also swivel front and back so you can make interesting poses.

Many recent HG Gunplas also use standardized dual 3mm holes so you can use the wing unit on those kits also.

For some 30MM kits and 30MS sisters you can use alternative configuration which has a single 3mm peg for connection. However you'll lose the joint sections which means you'll also lose up and down articulation. If you want to retain the articulation, you can use joint adapters included in 30MS kits which converts single 3mm hole to standard dual 3mm holes. (Unfortunately Acerby kits doesn't come with the adapter so I used her for alternative configuration example.)

Story

What's in the box (sprues and other parts)

A [Multicolored]
Sprue is labeled "30MS Optional Body Type D (オプションボディーパーツ タイプD)" suggesting that this costume uses body type D. Which mainly used for Neverlia and its variants.

B [Navy]
It is labeled "Joint 6" and it's the exactly the same sprue used for Neverlia minus right part of the sprue that contains joints for legs, and hands.

C [Fluorescent Green, UV reactive]
"30MS Joint-6", 30MS standard ring style accent / attachment points for limbs.

D [Skin tone B]
As this is newest option parts kit, it uses seamless design for upper thigh and shoulders utilizing slide molding technique.

E1 [Dark Gray], E2 [Skin tone B]
E1/E2 sprues contains parts for the breasts and adaptor pieces for the headgear. Adapter pieces are common parts also used in other option parts with headgear like Commander, Fang, or Chaser costume.

HP-L1/L4 [Light Brown]
Rear part of the hair - HP-L1 sprue is shared with OPS9 Commander, OPS13 Tactical Costumes, but front part is different. OPS9 uses L3, OPS13 uses L2, while this kit uses L4.

FP-I1~4 [Skin tone B]
You receive two blank faces, one with a closed mouth and one with an open mouth. Additionally, you get two standard head core parts, and a special core for attaching head accessories. Two sets of neck joints are also included: one pair of side-by-side swivel joints and another pair of front-to-back swivel joints.

Visor part [PET, Green]
Well, this kit's main attraction is the visor. It is made of thin translucent green PET film and attached to the head via two holes on sides.

Detailed Parts Review

You get two blank face plates so you can use 30MS decals (sold separately) to make whatever facial expression you want. Or you can use any of the pre-printed faceplates from facial expression kits or leftover faces from your another kits. (Full kits usually comes with 3 faces so you probably have a few around.)

The construction of the upper torso follows typical Type D body design. A notable kit that employs the Type D body is Neverlia.

You receive two chest pieces, but only one decorative emblem for chest pieces. One set of breasts (pictured on the right) is slightly larger than other.

The lower torso and hips also exhibit typical Type D body construction.

The arms and thighs feature new seamless design, molded using slide molding technique.

You also get a pair of green soles for replacing purple soles of Neverlia type feet so that you can match color throughout the whole model.

Completed costume combined with Neverlia limbs. I used one of spare faces from Tiasha kit.

Visor is made of thin PET film and held onto the face with two connector pieces. Typical joint parts for headgear and special head core part is used. Those combination is also used on costumes like Commander, Chaser, or Fang costume, etc.

You'll have to disassemble the head and replaced the core part that has two pegs for headgear connection instead of ears.

Costume completed with the visor. Looks very nice!

As costume uses a Type D body, you can exchange the top, bottom torso, and hip parts with the Neverlia kit.

The original Rishetta also shares the same chest part connection design. Therefore, you can interchange chest parts between this costume, Neverlia and Rishetta.
